Hi there! Happy Monday and welcome to the first (official) post on this blog.
In a future post I will give you a little background about myself as well as my crafting journey to this point, but today I simply wanted to share one of the many projects I am currently working on.
This is a crochet blanket using the Magnus Throw pattern by Meghan Makes Do, which I found on Ravelry. I am using a 6mm crochet hook (by my favorite Clover Amour brand) and two yarns – Hobby Lobby’s Crafter’s Secret Big Idea in White and Lion Brand Ice Cream Big Scoop in the color Parfait which I held double. (This is done by working from two skeins at once).
I am absolutely loving this blanket. It works up very quickly and is really squishy and soft. The ends I have left cut around 5″ in length. I am unsure if I will use a twisted fringe border, tassels, or an envelope border. I will decide that when the body of the blanket is completed. If you’re looking for an easy, mindless project to work on while watching a show, this is one for you!
